Since 1981, Åre Skidfabrik has been manufacturing skis and snowboards with a passion for craftsmanship, performance, and innovation. Today, we are the only ski factory in Scandinavia.

Through continuous investments in the latest machinery, modern production facilities, and an energy efficient heating system, we have built one of the world’s most modern and sustainable ski manufacturing facilities. Here, traditional craftsmanship is combined with advanced manufacturing to create products of the highest quality and performance.

At our factory, we produce skis for our award-winning brand, Extrem Skis, while also developing and manufacturing models for several leading international brands. Through our Custom Made concept, we offer personalized skis featuring unique, custom-designed graphics.

Our entire production is powered by 100% renewable electricity generated by local hydropower through Jämtkraft. For us, sustainability is a natural and integral part of how the skis should be made.
